This is a very, very, very, very small boat in one of the ports. Named after my cousin Connie.
Ola everyone.
Don´t worry, my Spanish is getting is not getting a lot better yet. Thankfully a lot of people speakEnglish here. In the morning Gordon and I will go the market here in Calvia to get the fresh veggies for the week. The market is literally outside our door. A lot of food, baskets, cheap clothing and trinkets. The food here is excellent. Patti is a great cook and thank god for my cleaning skills..........:-)........ Tonight we had roasted veggies and beef with fresh grated horshradish from the garden. There are tons of good resturants and the wine is great. We have a grocery store in the city (Palma) I call the Superstore except that it sells tons of booze as well. Larry.........I did find the wine you mentioned but have not purchased it yet as I had to double check the name.
Please be sure to post your email address whn registering for the blog so I can email you. If not, then send me an email at abbylane@pei.sympatico.ca so I can get your address. Also let me know who has MSN as I am working on that as well. So much to learn and lots of time to do it!!! It is quite a feeling .....no major responsibilites and tons of time to read books. Gordon is slowly getting use to it. He is hanging around with Hans and learning lots about boats. I can now add yacht cleaning to my resume. Like friggin´boats that are worth millions. Patti and I cleaned a million dollar house on Friday. It still took all day....doesn´t seem to matter how much it costs...they still require the same amount of cleaning. The homes here are lovely. A lot of stone, of course. I will post some photos of very typical spanish windows. so lovely.
We just invited to house/small dog sit from Jan 1-7 for some friends of P&H. The house is in one of the ports, very close to the water so yes is the answer!!
The oranges and lemons are just coming into season. The olive and fresh alomond season is just finishing. The weather is nice....not hot, but we´re not shoveling anything either.
So get thoses emails and comments comming in and I will be more attentive witih photos. Hope everyone is well and Take care. Adios!!!
