Girls Potluck at Teri Hall's

A few of the local girls had dinner at Teri Hall's this evening. Kim Goldsmith, who is actually a goldsmith...(can you believe it??) was visiting for the week. She is a wonderful person and jeweller who is Teri's mentor in working with her sea glass jewellery. The Halloween girls are "Sister Darlene" and "Zorrita", alias Faith and Darlene. What a scream! Crazy women. Happy Birthday to Shirley Anne as well and oh yea, another self portrait! later folks.....

Visitors on the weekend!!

We had visitors on Saturday night. Mike and Melissa Horne, (and Sam) friends from Charlottetown, and Steve and Shelley, who now live in Fredriction. We had a great dinner and some great wine. We entertained ourselves while Steve played the guitar. Lots of laughs. Nice to get together and have fun. I personally spent all day Sunday in my pyjamas, simply cause I could. It is still a beautiful fall here. We are getting lots of rain and most of the leaves have fallen. The cottage is still hanging in there for us. It is very nice here. Hope all is well. send mail. New look!!

So I decided it was time for a new look and blogger was offering a new system and here it is. Blogger is a great site and anyone who would like to have a blog should check it out. It is very easy and a great way to keep in touch with everyone. Blogging is for everyone's use, not just world travellers. Later folks...let me know what you think of our new look. Louise

Thanksgiving weekend in PEI

Tooooooooo much turkey makes your eyes go funny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So far I have no photos to uplaod except this one. Marcel and Heidi took all the photos and I am waiting for Marcel to send me a couple....so more pictures to come. We had 19 for dinner at Cathy Rose's cottage. Gordon's Mom and all of his sisters and brothers except one, (and he lives in Campbell River, BC) were here for the weekend. My brother Larry as well, and our neighbours Mike and Rachel, with their son, Gabe. We had a fantastic dinner, all potluck. Rachel cooked the bird and made the gravey. Yum. We had a great weekend and the weather was fantastic. We finished off on Monday afternoon with a picnic (turkey sandwitches of course!) at Gordon's job site. Logan and Brooke

Hi everyone

Just would like to introduce you to my one and only nephew, Logan Vincent Mac Donald whom I love dearly and his beautiful and really great girl friend, Booke Hafford. She is from Alligash, Maine and they live in Bar Harbour, Maine. My brother Larry (Logan's Dad) and I went to visit them last weekend. Sally (Logan's Mom) lives in Blue Hill, Maine. We had a great vist with everyone and a most excellent weekend. The drive home was the only part that was a drag. It was very rainy and the Confederation Brdige was closed to "high sided vehicles" because it was so windy so it was a bit wicked crossing it. Very eerie when it is like that on the bridge. Never the less, we made it and all is well. Happy Thanksgiving to all you ex-patriot Canadians that are reading this and hugs to all..........xoxoxoxo

Finally blogging again!!!

Hi all

Sorry about the hiatis...............time flies when we are working all the time!! Gordon is working at the "Roma Settlement", which is an orginal french settlement that is being re-created. He, and his 4 crew members are building a new 'old" barn from post and beam construction. Gordon is training the crew and it is a big learning curve for him as well as he has not used this building system before. He is quite enjoying it. The photos are during th fete, where volunteers dressed in costume and entertained the tourists and locals!! Gordon played the part of the "carpenter". He had a great time.





















I too am a busy camper. My business (drivepei.com) is doing well and this is a very busy time for us. I am training two new staff members as well.
This is our house and the view from it. It is truly a beautiful here on P.E.I. We live in a very nice part of our island, for those who have not see it before. Would love to hear from all of you out there in cyber space. Please send mail!!
