Sorry everyone, I did not do a very good job of explaining where we actually were on New Years Eve. We went in to Palma, and spent the late evening and early morning at Plaza Cort for the New Years Eve festival. About 500 men, women and children......everyone toting wine and champagne. People were shooting fireworks off above the crowd. It was a bit freaky at first but we got used to it. There was a live band a young and old danced the night away. It was much fun.

I see you are having a blast there - Yes, that's life in Europe: children drinking wine and shooting fireworks... I take it you are getting into it too, having champagne for lunch, hehe.
